Ebbie is operated by the FAME civic association. Here is what Ebbie draws on, how it respects authors' rights and what happens to what you write.
Ebbie answers using more than 700 academic works in marketing and related fields. You'll find the full list under Sources.
We have our own concise research note for each work. It describes the question the work addresses, how it was conducted, what it found including the main figures, and its limitations. The notes are written in our own words and refer to pages in the original text.
We do not retain full texts or parts of them in the database Ebbie uses to answer. Alongside research notes, we store bibliographic details (authors, year, journal, DOI), a brief summary and our assessment of strength of evidence.
Every answer identifies the works it draws on and links to the official versions via their DOIs.
Copyright law protects the expression of a work, not ideas, facts or research findings. Ebbie therefore presents them in its own words. Any exceptional verbatim quotation is brief, at most two to three sentences, with the author and work identified, as permitted by the quotation provision in Slovak copyright law (section 37 of Act No. 185/2015 Coll.).
Are you an author or rights holder who does not want Ebbie to use your work? Write to info@fameworks.sk and give the title. We will remove the work and its research note from Ebbie without undue delay, within 14 days at the latest.
Answers are generated automatically by a language model (artificial intelligence) from notes on the works most relevant to the question. They are not written by a person.
Answers may contain errors or inaccuracies. Before an important decision, check the original sources linked in the answer. Ebbie cannot see inside your company or your data and does not replace professional advice. The decision and responsibility for it remain yours.
